Scott,I was hoping you'd be out there,I did as suggested and used a pipe brush from the hardware store 3/4" and got a can of brake cleaner and took the wire brush to the grinder wheel and groung it more to a point.then proceeded to swirl the brush down to the bottom and spray the cleaner in ...IT WORKS!! nice and shiny,then turned the engine over 4 times to blow the cleaner and junk out...coat the injector with antiseize and bolt it down.I cranked it up,it smoked for about 15 min. then it stopped..turned it off..hit the stater and it fired WITHOUT eyther!!! 1st time it's EVER started without juice!! I owe alot to "Lee" @Midwest Diesel Injection,for rebulding the pump and injectors and all the helping hands Thanks Guys! Tom

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
