My 52 Super C has always purred like a kitten. Yesterday, we hooked up the belt-driven grist mill to grind some corn. The SC idled nicely for a little while, but then began running roughly and eventually sputtered out. All plugs fouled. Removed plugs, cleaned them up, ran great for about 15 minutes, and again, all plugs fouled. Cleaned plugs a third time and limped it back to the barn. It would appear that the mixture is too rich, but there is no mixture adjustment on the Carter UT carb. Any ideas? I'm probably going to replace all plugs and distributor cap, rotor, points & condenser just for the fun of it, she hasn't had a tune up since restoration in 2002. Thanks for any suggestions.
