As I am a JD fan, and have never owned an IH tractor, I was wondering if you guys could answer a few questions I have about the 450 Diesel. I am sort of thinking about buying one. 1) Did they have factory power steering? 2) Live Hyd. and PTO? 3) What kind of hitch did they have if any? Was there a 2pt or 3pt for them? 4) What price range for a decent one that runs? I would want to restore it, but dont want a basket case to start with. 5) Im used to the JD 720-730 Diesel and used them to pull 4-14 pull plows in my area. With that in mind, how would the 450 Diesel do? I wouldn't want to plow with it, just wondering how it would do? 6) I assume parts are still around for these tractors? I know I asked a bunch of questions, but thanks for your help!
