Here is the senerio (it's a 130 w/pos. ground) ... charged battery (6.2 volts before startup); polarized the VR (flash BAT/GEN terminals); tractor starts up and ammeter reads discharge; voltage at battery terminals is 6.1 volts; voltage at genny is 1.0 volts (tested from A terminal on gen to ground).
Genny is bad right? If so, could it just be the brushes or something else I could fix, or does it need to be rewound?
