I like that idea. I think the worst case for future overhauls, (which I doubt this tractor will ever have)is that the tops of the sleeves will need to have a few thousandths shaved off of the top. I've had to do this to new sleeves on two of my previous restorations where I didn't touch the deck. Either someone else had milled the block and not redone the c-bores or the sleeve rims were too thick.
