As I clean up parts and put them back on I want to protect them because it may be some time before I give the tractor a full paint job. I was messing with the carb tonight and it's just covered in a film of rust on the outside. No paint is left on it at all.
What will clean the rust away, and prevent it from coming back, while at the same time prepping for paint? Will primer do that, or is there another product out there?
