Well even your wind power blowing on it will be more than the pressure of the fuel in the tank. The flow needs to be about as much as will flow through a 3/16 in soda straw. The best is a filter from NAPA that is specifically for gravity. The valve will stop the flooding when parked, and prevent wear of cylinders due to washed off oil when starting.
