If all you need to do is change the seal there is no need for more dissambley. Use a piece of 1/8" thick X 3/4" wide and 6"long piece of steel with a square end and insert it through the oil intake into the pump gears to hold the shaft from turning. Use a piece of steel bar stock that fits the slot or a hammer and brass rod and unscrew the coupler CCW (normal threads) from the shaft. Dave
