Guy, I have asked this question on here before, but the answers vary too much for me to make a decision. Do you know what serial # they changed the paint color to red on the F12? Is the "paint decision 100" memo accurate? If it is then anything after November 1, 1936 is red. According to my info they made about 30,000 F 12's in 1936. If you break that down by month then only about 5000 are red. My brother-in-laws is numbered at about 15,000 of 1936 production. Probably made in June or July. i told him it should be gray. He says there is nowhere on the tractor with gray paint, only red. Mine is a 1935, Serial # 42242. I am going to paint it gray. Any help with this question would be appreciated. I have read and used some of your books, excellent resources. Thank you.My e-mail is open. Lee Cramsey
