The good old $25 I&T book will probably be your best bet. The problem with original IH books is that the info for one tractor was scattered out over several books- engine in one, electrical system in another, hyd. system in another, you get the idea. This was especially true for the 06 series. Case-IH dealer can get most of the mechanical parts, but it definetly won't be like working on a 4020 were you can still get sheetmetal, ect from the dealer.
