Epoxy is not all the same stuff. Real two part epoxy requires mixing and polymerizes by catylitic reaction. The material in spray cans is being mislabeled (opinion) to imply that it has the same properties. It may have some of the same resins in it, but the difference is dramatic. Purchase two part epoxy in two small cans, Mix a modest amount, and fill the tube with liquid, then drain. The result will not need to be red (it is inside)Then paint the tube IH red. JimN
