I think I will just replace the rad hose as it is toast anyways. I just got book specs on the valve lash and it is .019 cold I will set it at that and hope it works, they look like they are right together with no gap in it, I will double check the timing while I have the valve cover off as well I can probably get it near smack on that way. I had another helpful guy telling me that he had a similar problem with his tractor backfiring and missing and his distributor was excessively worn so I will check this once I get the top end put back together. I was unable to find a Pressure Tester today so I will check a couple different places tomorrow or I will stop by one of the shops in town and see if I can borrow one.
