Thanks for all your replies. Maybe I should have added more info. The noise started half way to the house, but stopped after nearly 5 miles. It would do it when it was moving or sitting still. No loose hubs, no clamps loose, etc. The tractor moves fine, brakes work fine, etc., but pto does not work, engaged or not, which led me to believe that it may have been the internal shaft.
