Bob,
Out here on our farm in WNY we have both kinds of WFE for the farmall M/superM. The ones that have the steering arms facing towards the back of the tractor are far superior to the ones that stick out in the front. Shwarts and IH made the ones that face the rear and allow the tractor to steer alot easier and they look a heck of alot better too. I've purchased many over the years and have found that they are getting harder and harder to find these days. Prices range from 300-800 for the shwarts. The one for the M/superM will also fit a 400/450 but wont work on an H.
