This may help. Go to the casih.com website select the parts option and then go to "search for parts". Search on 434 and select it. then go to figure 3-02 Electrical System-Dsl. and select it. You should get a basic wiring diagram and legend.
Currently completely rewiring a 364Dsl. The wiring was a unreal mess. Not a single light or gauge was working.Ended up removing 90% of the wiring and starting over.It was quicker to rerwire that to fix existing wiring.
My advise is to break the wiring down into simple single circuits( front lights/rear lights/flashers/temp gauge/etc) and check each connection/part of that circuit till you get it working and then move on the next circuit. I found broken wires, corroded connectors, rewiring done wrong, fuses with high resistance and especially difficult to find bad grounds. Also watch out for bare spots where insulation has melted.
Just because you have a wire between two connections you can not assume you have a good connection. Also just because a wire is connected to a grounding screw or nut it may not be making contact due to corrosion or paint.
