Doug: You may want to check the clutch to make sure it releases properly. I inherited a 300 Utility from my dad, and it sat outside where he left it for six years. None of us knew (until I bought a manual) that you're supposed to block the clutch in the released position for long-term storage. As a result, the clutch fused together and I broke one of the bosses the first time I stepped on the pedal. Bottom line: the clutch won't release, and I'm in for my first tractor split.
