I went to a Early Day Gas Engine & Tractor Assoc. (EDGE&TA) gathering today at a farm where they have small ridable train, pumpkins and other fun stuff for the kids. Our club had a large assortment of small engines doing all sorts of neat things like crushing cans, pumping water, making ice cream.
Anyway, as I sat down for lunch with the club members I was talking to a fellow I know who helped me work on my radiator. He introduced me to another fellow who had an H. He told him I was working on restoring one as well. I introduced myself as Mike, and he asked "Mike in California?" I said, Mike C-A, that's me. He said he had been reading about my ongoing story (soap opera) for some time. I beamed with pride, ready to sign the autograph I was sure he was about to ask for. My friend said this fellow just got his H back from being restored. Apparently he sent his away to Mark, from Mark's Tractors in Indiana. He showed me the pictures. I was drooling, and forgot all about the autograph.
Anyway, Tony, if you are reading this, it's time to sign up and post the picture of the fine looking H of yours. I can't wait to see it in person!
