Start at the fuel tank and check for flow. It must flow fuel like flowing through a sweetheart straw. If less, it is plugged up. There is a strainer in the carb intake fitting as well as other places. If the lines are OK, then pull off the float bowl and (with a pan under it) gently hold up the float and turn on the fuel. Lowering the float should produce drastic flow, if not, the inlet is plugged up. Good luck. As pointed out by Bob, the coil could be an issue. If it restarts immediatly but dies I go for fuel first.
