While its the same block the mountings and front cover are different and I think the air cleaner assembly is different. If your 606 has underslung exhaust you would need the manifold from the 221. If you have to buy the 263 motor I think you would be ahead to just fix the 221, maybe just the head gaskethas gone bad. Migraine
