Where is the pressure relief on a Farmall 656 Diesel Gear Drive tractor? Is it the part right in front of the hydraulic oil filter? Looks like a radiator cap with a spring in it. Part # 386121R92(value assembly filter)
You get to it from the RIGHT SIDE of the tractor by taking off the oil filter plate VERSUS taking off the FLANGE ASSY, pump mounting side plate that's on the LEFT SIDE of the tractor.
I haven't got the parts in yet (ordered them Monday), so I've never replaced the filter or the relief value. I hope these aren't stupid questions, but I'm not sure exactly where the part is. I hate to open up the left side flange, if I can get to it through the right side oil filter cover. Thanks in advance.
