I'm with randy. They need to be "snug" you dont want them vibrating off. The H toolbox was NEVER without a cresant wrench. We NEVER hit them though. I do remember an ear broken off of one once. If you wanted to check the oil, you went to the tool box first for the cresent wrench.
PS. in the old days they were all American made cresent wrenchs. I have on that is made by the Diamond Caulk Horseshoe Company. pretty neat. I took it out of service for fear of loosing it.
