I read with pleasure the forums.Also this subject is an hot issue in farmall Europe. About the scale of measuring:When the pointer is up-right it's 80 degrees Celsius and when 100 boiling it's on the beginning of the red area.
Many of the cheap gauges come from China like all the ones on eBay and have a wrong scale.I had a few in my collection but it was rubbish. We got our money back from the supplier at the end!!Due to pressure system the gauges of this Dutch person are in the range of 40-120 degrees.(80 degrees Celsius) pointer upright) I live in Belgium and my farmall buddies an me have arranged with that Dutch gauge developer if he was willing to develop original Farmall gauges.
He was willing to do if minimum quantity was 100 of each.Temp+Oil+Ampere.
These gauges are terrific quality and NOT made in China.We have them in our earlie 560,M,H BMD,SBMD,B-450,WD6,WD9 and they work great and for long.
He sells them througout the world even New Zealand (the Grey MF).He speaks and write English at best.
