Wet or Dry Sleeves

Does a SMTA have wet sleeves or dry sleeves? What books or manuals best explain this engine and would be the best resource in rebuilding the engine of a SMTA and its restoration. I have a service manual that is for several models including the SMTA. Looking for more detail. Imput , imput, imput. Thanks for your response!
