I was afraid you were gonna agree that that was the likely culprit, but I like the idea, and it happens there's a guy in the neigborhood could make just such a bushing for me and be glad to have the challenge. And he's three doors down the road from a machine shop, if he isn't up to boring thorugh the steel on the lever.
I've got to put the girl out of action for a while to deal with a bad bearing and seal, so that'll make an opportunity to get try that.
