lekander: I notice Purdue SG and Glenster got to the bottom of 150 Years of IH by Wendel. Wendel did a lot of research in writing his books, and we should point out 150 Years of IH was not his only book.
I have 4 of Wendel's books; 150 Years of IH, Encylopedia of American Farm Tractors, Oliver-Hart Parr and Nebraska Tractor Tests since 1920. There were others, however bear in mind these were written late 70s, 80s and early 90s. I got a kick out of the encylopedia, man there are some weird contraptions in there called tractors. I'm quite certain he did a book on Deere, possibly Case, MM, etc. I once had the complete list, had intended to buy the complete set, then his books were out of print some time and I lost interest. I hope someone can come up with the complete list of Wendel books.
