Whether it is any help or not, I have this to offer:
An 856 diesel with around 6000 hours brought $17000 with a loader on it a few weeks ago at auction in ND.
Also in ND - Dad just got $9000 out of his 1256 with 8000 hours on it, needing plenty of work, with a Farmhand 235 loader. He was offered $5500 for the tractor alone.
I would say that tractor should be worth at least $10,000 and I'm sure there was near that much put into it, given the list of items repaired and replaced.
As for TA out at 1700 hours - if used improperly they will not last that long! I've heard of people taking the TA out within 300 hours. Then again, some claim to have over 20,000 hours with original TA...
