Hold your had hand over the throat of the carburetor and see there's good suction on your hand and your hand should be wet with gas. You need good intake maifold vacuum to pull that atomized fuel into the engine. Good rings and valves seating good all contribute to good a vacuum. Check your intake manifold bolts to see if they're snug. Check that compression to see what it is, worn cylinders and rings can cause low compression and weak manifold vacuum. Hal
