Are you using an actual guage, or are you going by the idiot light in the dash? Keep in mind that on an 06 series tractor, the idiot light is for both engine oil pressure and transmission pressure. If you're holding the clutch pedal down, the MCV dump valve will be open to dump oil pressure out of the TA clutch, causing trans pressure to drop and the light to come on. This is normal. Could also be a MCV problem. Eliminate this possibility by disconnecting the trans pressure sender. It is located on the rear side of the MCV, which is located on the left side of the clutch housing. Now, if you're using an actual gauge and you have no pressure, try Jim's method of priming the oil galley.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
