Why you might ask?...LOL! I have 2 retired H's that are going to be restored. All they would be doing is going to parades and shows and I think duels would add a nice look.
I don't want the strap on ones either. I know a cup in and a cup out will prolly fit ok but would really like to have each side both cupped out. Now it seems that both cupped out might extend passed the axle some. Is this true?
Ok... if it over laps some I have seen some H silver rims are not the same. Some are smooth with a metal beed rising up in the middle to meet the iron hub. Other seem to have 3 beeds? Are these ones with 3 allow you to hook up at different areas?
Example: Iron hub added to axle and put all the way down to the end. Take silver rim and use the very end beed and attach to the hub so more of the tire would be going toward the seat rather than center of the rim.
Please excuse my terminology of these items as I am not a farmer or have a lot of hours on the tractors. I do love them very much because they were original purchased new by my grandfather.
Well this is where my thoughts come to an end. I just need more ideas and info to make this happen.
