Karl: I fabricated my blade, it you wish send me an e mail. I have about 6 quite detailed photos showing attachment to tractor, blade angling, etc. My fabrication occured in 3 separate sessions, each one to correct a weak point on the blade. I never dreamed it would take that much steel to harness one of these little tractors.
Along with the photos, I'll outline my early mistakes. Actually there were two factors, blade push frame strength and castings on tractor. At first my blade push frame was attached only at clutch housing and cultivator mount behind front axle. Looking at some of the damage I was doing too the blade, I had some concern that the torque tube could break. Today my blade is attached at cultivator mount, clutch housing and the frame continues back and attached to each final drive.
After three years since the last rebuild, I'm satisfied I have a blade that will withstand the tractor as well as protect the tractor from damage.
