Hello and thanks for the help. I know last summer I cleaned the points and that helped. I believe they are old though and should probably replace them.. I will check the wires as well. I know they are new but can't remember if they are copper wire. Where would you get copper wire type plug wires? Sounds as if the mag is the better of the two systems. Thanks again for the help. YC
