Tim, I tried to break a stuck H loose like you're doing with your M. Well, I found out that a previous owner had tried the same thing. The clutch disk and pressure plate were broken and I found two pushrods out of their respective rocker arms (stuck open valves). Had I been successful in breaking the engine loose, the damage would have much greater. This was Farmall number 2. Farmall number 1 was stuck too. It turned out to be stuck at a rod bearing. The insert had spun and seized. Nothing turned until the rod was off the journal which was .060" undersized by the time it locked up. The sensible part of me says junk it but the tractor man in me says FIX IT!! The procrastinator in me says fix it...later.
