Steve: No, I never did make Iowa. I had some health problems, kept me from travelling for a spell. Then I had to make a couple of trips to the east coast. This fall we moved to a smaller house, 2,400 square feet was getting a bit much for two of us. I wasn't right fond of the $4,000. annual oil bill either.
I often wondered which one of us were the bravest on that disk building expedition. I had no idea of your mechanical ability, except a good hunch. You had no idea about me, I may have been talking through my hat. I must admit, on that two day absence of any communication with you, I was convinced things weren't going well, and you'd probably never communicate with me again. It would have been a shame had it not worked out, we both had a lot of time in that project. I must admit, I've never been that brave again.
