The problem is that you don't know why its stuck. we all assume that it's pistons, but it could well be several other things. For instance I had an Allis B engine stuck and we towed it gently to try to loosen it and it was only a valve stuck closed.(Bent the push rod).If it won't free easily with a GENTLE pull then maybe you lose nothing by stripping it.
