Thanks guys, I had the fuel shut off but when I turned it back on and the float stuck it let a lot back up in thru the air intake pipe. I drained all of that and drained the carb. I tapped on the carb with a screwdriver handle while barely turning the gas back on and cranking the tractor fired right up. I had to tap it a few times more but it straightened out so I ran it for awhile. Parked it turned the fuel off while runnning and let it burn down to going dead, pulled the plug out of the bottom of the carb and let it drain. Maybe I can hold my breath and not have any more trouble.
