Sounds like a problem I had with my 62 Ford pickup. Replace the fuel line between the fuel pump and carb. It might have crud stuck in it. Mine had crud in the line from the tank to the pump. Would run fine for a long time then every now and then the crud would lodge and shut me down. I would blow in the line at the carb back to the tank and tell it was stopped up and after blowing hard, the crud would dislodge and I could run again.
