Bob, I know this is very little help. I have seen a picture of a 2500A in the "IH Farm Equipt. 1831-1985" book. it looks to me to be set up for a loader and a backhoe. I would think this thing would have more than enough hydraulics to handle a loader.
About finding a loader my thoughts would be to ask an IH dealer which loader it took (ie. 2350 model etc.) and then put a wanted add out on this site with the proper model. hope this helps
