No problem going with a SH head on tractor. The last casting number head IH sold as replacements for gasoline H through 350 was the same head. As the other poster said putting a H head on a newer model can run into interferance problems. Only other problem is putting a regular production 300 or 350 head on a older model. They don't have the ventalation breather hole in rear of head, they used a opening from valve cover. As someone posted use the H head gasket for 3-3/8 or 3-7/16 bore.
