that measurement is best observed during an engine and TA clutch adjustment procedure, making sure to follow each step from the beginning. everything needs to be just right. if it was working before you adjusted it, then you missed something. if it isn't working to begin with, it may need more than just some adjusting. tell us more about your situation.
you should be reading out of the same IT manual as the 656, which i own. the illustrations and text definitely indicate more than just a 1/16th measurement at one point. they are quite thorough, i thought. others may chime in before i get to it, but i can browse my manual and give you paragraph and illustration numbers to reference.
