Thanks guys for all the great responses, I printed all of them off and talked to my Dad and he agreed with you all that time and possibly a teardown were the proper way to do this. He has a lot of field expierence with the old H's and also 8N Fords and had also told me some of the very scenarios you fellows mentioned. (Besides that it is in his shop so I guess we will go at it however he decides).
