About 20 miles south of the Atlanta airport between Fairburn and Fayetteville, GA. Up until 1993 we got at least one good (wet) 4 to 6-inch snow along in February to March. The temps would drop to below zero for at least one good deep freeze. Hasn't been below 15 since 92 to my recolection. The main tool bars themselves were red. My mother sold the ones I broke in on. My dad (with my bother and I as help) planted 100 to 160 acres of corn, cotton, and peanuts every year for 20+ years with a set of these 2-row planters. They were still in excelent condition when we last used them. Most of the time we were banding firtalizer so along with keeping the seed hoppers full we were handling the firtalizer in 100-ponud bags.
