Steven: I think herein lies the difference between restorer's that restore everything, and those that call an engine kit, a splash of paint and new decals a complete restoration.
The guys that go into such things as governors, rear end and transmission bearings, pto, wiring, carburators, steering boxes, etc., just every minor detail, are well known and their reproductions bring top dollars. One just has to go through the photo adds here at YT, 95% of the restored tractors are paint restorations. I can easily understand the disbelief, amoung YT readers.
