Started the H up today and it's missing and pulsating when it runs. Sounds like I can hear a faint backfiring out of the air intake. It is pulsating when it runs, running fast and slow, about a second slow and a second fast. Doesn't accelerate very good and still pulsates. The weather recently got colder here and I start it at least once a week. Always been an excellent runner. Also spitting a bit of fuel out of a hole or port in the base of the carb towards the rear of the carb. I am thinking a stuck valve but don't know. Haven't done a compression test or anything else to determine cause. Too nasty outside. Any ideas?
