sounds like you may have a 300 utility. if so, there is a long shaft running from the pitman arm on the left side of the tractor from the left front wheel to just below the steering column at the the base of the operators station. if you are turning the steering wheel and this shaft is not moving back and forth, the problem is going to be from the steering wheel up to and including the gearbox at the base of the column. could be a pin or keyway sheared off, or possible a broken gear inside the steering box. you will need to start by turning the steering wheel and following shaft movement along the steering asembly until you locate where it stops turning.
