Whenever we would get a real bad snow, I would make sure that all the neighbors were plowed out. Most of them were elderly and I always felt that it was better to plow them out and not worry whether or not they compensated me for it. In case of an emergency, it would be a whole lot easier for the emergency squads to reach them. That to me is far more important than money or worrying about the wear and tear on my equipment. I can repair the equipment, I can't replace one of my neighbors.
