I don't have any info on this, but here's an idea. Love to put out ideas when I don't know what I'm talking about. I believe the seat you are talking about is post WWII. The hydraulically-damped seat that was--I think--stock on Super H/M was sometimes retrofitted to the H and M. I cannot say for sure if IHC ever offered this seat for H and M late in their production years. My father had a '51 H with this seat, and it just might have been stock. The aftermarket seat for the F-20 was almost-certainly modeled on the H/M or SH/SM seat. It doesn't look authentic on F-20, but it would sure improve the ride. I spent a good 10 years bouncing around on an F-20, and I can tell you that it'll give the kidneys a workout on rough ground. When the front wheels go down, that seat sticking out the back like a see saw goes up, and vice versa. The engineers didn't give much thought to driver comfort when they designed the Farmall and its successors.
