Some controversy on this. Models after about 49-50 had the 3 position switch, voltage regulator and distributer. As to the 3rd brush, my 1950 C (H/M should be the same) has the 3 position switch and a 3rd brush generator. I have always thought that the 4 position switch, cutout relay and 3rd brush generator disappeared with the introduction of the distributer and voltage regulator, but as others will undoubtably say that is not a hard and fast rule.
