It appears that the gearbox position is low enough that the power must come from the constant mesh reverse idler gear. I suppose all the B450s must have had the opening in the rear frame for that attachment.
This is in contrast to the Elwood front drive set-up on US made IH tractors (M thru 660). There is no side outlet in the rear frame and the power comes off the top of one of the mainshaft slider gears: probably 4th-5th.
I am no authority on other makes, but I think contemporary Oliver and Minneapolis-Moline both had the side outlet long before US made IH tractors.
Although there is no way to tell from the pictures, that tractor must have had power steering but no TA.
