A 1970's New Idea, two auger, seven foot wide, would be a good one. Have used the same one since new on a 766 and a 1086 and it is still going strong. The 1086 has too much power for it, so I take it alittle easy in the big drifts that the dual hubs rub, but it can really blow snow. If your 706 has no cab like our 766 and you can't blow the snow with the wind you end up looking like a snowman sitting on the tractor. Also it seems like blown snow doesn't make as big a pile as pushed snow, but after you blow it once and it's not where you want it, blow it again right away because if it sets for a day or so it gets hard and is hard to get into to blow again, just like a wind blown snow drift gets. If you get one e-mail me and I will tell you tips on how to make some improvements to it. RichH
