Hardly anything from a H transmission will work in a 300 transmission and vise versa. Real late H with disc brakes a few will. Clutch, center housing won't interchange also. Most 300 used the 2-1/2 inch axle so H wheels will work. Few 300 have the optional 2-3/4 inch axle. If you have a free 300 rear end from engine back and just want something put togeather to use the cost will still add up. Fabricate mounting for battery box, rear steering shaft support and rear gas tank support to 300 trans. top cover. modifiy gear shifter. Use a flywheel, pressure plate and clutch plate from 300,or 350. If you have a late H with bigger flywheel you can use it. Need a starter or drive end to work with your starter and will mount to the 300 starter location. If you need hydraulics you have to add a hydraulic tank or use the transmission for one, also a engine or pto driven pump and whatever pipes and valving wanted. If you had a 300 doner tractor with a bad engine it would be simpler to put the H engine in it. Know of a couple that way that do jobs with less power but less fuel also.
